Creative Tattoo Ideas for Siblings 2024
Recently, I had several siblings come into my shop and get their birth year tattooed. This brought back memories of a discussion I had with my sister and brother about getting tattoos together. Although we never implemented the idea, I still love it. It made me wonder how many sibling tattoos there are. It’s not my style to tattoo the name of someone on myself. But I can get matching tattoos for those who will always be with me. Here is a list of ideas I’ve compiled for you, your siblings, and your family.
Birthstones
This would be an awesome idea. This would require a colored tattoo, as many people prefer black and grey. However, there are some very cool gem tattoos.
Zodiacs
Although I don’t subscribe to astrology, I know that many people can identify their sun signs. You can do this regardless of how many siblings you have, as they will all be different. You might have the same sign depending on your age difference.
Two Halves
If you only have one sibling, the tho-halves-of-a-whole opens a lot of doors. You can each receive a half-heart or another symbol that will become whole once you’re together.
Birth States
It works best if your siblings are all born in the state you live in. You could, I suppose, get the other states or countries if you are spread out.
Initials
I would do this regardless of whether my siblings agree or not. All of our first names begin with J. One simple letter, in a cool design would be a great tattoo for any location.
Fictional Siblings
Here, I’m not talking about your invisible friends. Many people get tattoos with cartoons that are a representation of themselves and their siblings. Sisters may choose to get Elsa or Anna from Frozen tattooed.
Shared interests or each other’s interest
I like this design. You can get a gift that reflects your childhood if you and your siblings did a certain activity together as children, such as making music or playing video games. You can also choose to get each other something you both enjoy.
Family Crest
It is a tattoo that you will have forever, whether you like it or dislike it. Other things that siblings share include their parents. They may also tattoo the initials or names of their parents.
