Aluminum Angle, Channel, and Flat Bar Extrusion Orders from an Indonesia Factory

Aluminum conducts electricity twice as efficiently as copper when measured by weight. This characteristic makes it useful for bus bars. That property makes flat bar relevant for busbar applications, while equal angle and C Channel serve framing and edge protection.

When sourcing profiles, buyers often look for an Indonesia aluminum factory that offers two alloy series, AA6063 and AA6061, in T4, T5, and T6 tempers. One example is PT Exalum Metal Indo, established in 2009. Alloy 6063 is a popular extrusion alloy because it produces a good surface, resists corrosion, and can be heat-treated to increase strength, and both series support the Exalummetal industrial aluminum products line.

1. Equal Angle

Equal angle profiles are used for corner protection, structural frameworks, architectural edging, shelving, and brackets. Alloy depends on the application: 6063 suits architectural trim that needs a better finish, while 6061 suits heavier frames that require greater strength.

Equal angle is available in 16 sections with different leg lengths and thicknesses. Section 21021 has legs measuring 30.00 mm, a thickness of 5.00 mm, and a weight of 0.745 kg per meter. Its 5.00 mm thickness is the greatest of the 16 sections, while the others reach a maximum of 4.00 mm.

2. C Channel

C Channel, also called unequal channel, is used to protect the edges of plywood, MDF, glass, and composite panels. It can also cover exposed edges in shopfitting, furniture, and partition systems, and serve as a guide rail for panels and sliding doors.

C Channel is available in different widths and leg heights. Section 32042 measures 12.70 mm wide, with 50.80 mm legs, a 0.90 mm wall thickness, and a weight of 0.182 kg per meter. Section 32052 is 38.10 mm wide, with 25.40 mm legs, the same wall thickness, and a weight of 0.212 kg per meter.

3. Flat Bar

Flat bar is used for electrical busbars, structural supports, architectural trim, and machined components. For busbars, high-purity 6101 or 6063 alloys are suitable, while 6061 is used for structural requirements.

Flat bar is available in several thicknesses at the same width. Section 10200 measures 100.00 mm wide and 9.00 mm thick, with a 1.00 mm corner radius and a weight of 2.436 kg per meter. Section 10201 has the same width but is 6.00 mm thick and weighs 1.624 kg per meter.

4. Spandrel

Spandrel profiles are used for exterior soffits, ceiling panels, wall cladding, and gas station canopies. The profile is non-combustible, and available finishes include anodizing, powder coating, and mill finish.

Spandrel is available in similar widths with different weights. Section 62050 is 130.00 mm wide, has a profile height of 5.00 mm, a wall thickness of 0.80 mm, and weighs 0.305 kg per meter. Section 62060 is 132.00 mm wide and weighs 0.327 kg per meter.

5. Heat Sink

Heat sinks are used in high-power LED housings, inverter and transformer cooling, and telecommunications equipment such as 5G base stations. Closely spaced, tall fins increase the surface area available for cooling, and Exalummetal’s engineering team can help optimize fin geometry before the die is made.

Heat sink is available in different heights at the same width. Section 96004 measures 34.50 mm wide and 15.00 mm high, with a 1.00 mm wall thickness and a weight of 0.378 kg per meter. Section 96005 has the same width but is 20.00 mm high, with a 0.90 mm wall thickness and a weight of 0.399 kg per meter.

Place Your Angle, Channel, and Flat Bar Order with Exalummetal

If you are looking for an aluminum extrusion factory in Indonesia, Exalummetal is a recommended choice for industrial profile orders. Established in 2009, PT Exalum Metal Indo operates as an Indonesia aluminum factory offering that offers a wide range of aluminum extrusion profiles and ships worldwide, including to the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, and Canada.

After reviewing the angle, channel, and flat bar dimensions, you can prepare an order using the relevant section number. Contact the team on WhatsApp at +62 811 9429 970 or email [email protected], and send the section number, cut length, quantity, and required finish, such as anodizing or powder coating.
